What is the Fear of God?

It is the abandonment to Him irrespective of the consequences. In other words, it is the abandonment to Him whatever he consequences are.

Proofs:

Genesis
22:1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
22:2 And he said,
Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
22:3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto
the place of which God had told him.
22:4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
22:5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
22:6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
22:7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them
22:9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and
Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
22:10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
22:11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
22:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him:
for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.
22:15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD,
for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
because thou hast obeyed my voice.

1- Why Abraham had this courage?

His faith in God. Proofs:

Hebrew
11:17
By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
11:18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
11:19 Accounting that
God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; f! rom whence also he received him in a figure.

2. Satan does not understand this attitude...

Job
1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God
for nought?

After Job had lost EVERYTHING, Job still retain his integrity...continued to have faith in God...

Job
2:9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou
still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
2:10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh.
What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Because Job had the Fear of God !!! !
Please hear this: THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS NOTHING LESS !!!! THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS WHAT WE DESESPERATELY NEED TO ENTER IN THE HEAVEN !!! (Please read: 1 Peter 4:18; Matthew 11:12; Luke 16:17)

3- Now...how to get the Fear of God / Wisdom?

A) Supplied discipline - The part of God (Prov. 3: 11-12; Prov. 15: 32; Prov. 29:15)

Through hardships: (Hebrew 12:6)

B) Self-discipline - The human part (Prov. 2: 1-6; 2 Tim. 3:15)

SINCE THE FEAR OF GOD IS
A MUST TO ENTER IN THE HEAVEN, HOW MUCH ARE WE PURSUING IT??? WE NEED TO STRIVE FO! R THE FEAR OF GOD MORE THAN WE STRIVE TO EARN MONEY TO LIVE (SILVER AND GOLD).......(Prov. 3: 13-18)

In other words....

I am an adoptive child of God. God is my adoptive Father with a mothers heart. God loves me more than very much but He is not a fool, nor a Santa Clauss because it is written God is not mocked. If I am doing the fool with my life, this is my choice but my end would be to go in hell. He would spit me out of His mouth if I am a lukewarm or a foolish virgin - please check Rev. 3: 15-16. A foolish virgin is a foolish believer. What will happen to the foolish virgins please? Answer: they wont enter in the Heaven. What does it mean if they wont enter in the Heaven, please? There is only two places: the Heaven and Hell. So if the foolish virgins wont enter in the Heaven, it is because they will go in hell. Yes, it is written the Kingdom of God is for the spiritual soldiers - Luke 16:16; Mt. 11:12. The spiritual soldiers are the ones who are disciplined and are crucifying their flesh daily WITH HIS HELP. Without His Wonderful and Powerful help, I can not do anything to please Him. Amen?

Why it is written satan is like a roaring lion and he is seeking to devore us? Please check carefully the context and it is about the believers. Anyway, the believers can not be devored by satan simply because they are already devored. It is surely not because satan is seeking to devour us physically. It is spiritually.

It is written that nobody - and even satan - is able to remove us from His Hand. Yes, it is written. But when God created the human, He gave him the freedom. Even after someone is a child of God, he/she still have this freedom God gave to him/her. It is clealy written we can depart from the faith. So the only person able to remove ourselves from His Powerful and Wonderful Hand is...ourselves. That is why we are in a spiritual war and we need to strive perfection like good soldiers.
